New Start, New Year?

Happy New Year, lovelies! Only a couple of days out! This is a blog I wanted to aim for around this time, promise! 


So, how’s everyone’s New Year going so far? What was your New Years Resolution? Have you broken your it yet? Or are you still a tough cookie!?

This year is somewhat good for me so far, it’s been 4 weeks since I last self-harmed, and 4 weeks since I was last in hospital for anything mentally. (Of course I was in hospital 1st Jan with muscular damaged ribs! Good night I think ;)) 

Also, I’ve been accepted onto a College Course in Manchester to study Counselling Concepts! Which is a massive step, considering I HATE going places where I know no-one. I start after Easter.

I’m also looking forward to getting stuck in to the Anxiety and Depression Project I’m on. It was a great opportunity and I couldn’t say no!

Even though things are looking a little brighter, I don’t feel amazingly happy. I still have really hard days, where I want to throw in the towel and give everything up. But thanks to Jane, and lovely people on I’m still going strong! 

Just because it’s a New Year, it doesn’t mean everything is going to go away, and you’re going to feel 10x better than what you did. It’s still ‘just another day’, another day you fight, another day you get through, and another day you see how strong you really are. 

This year, I hope to have a regular blogging date, to make sure my blog is running smoothly. I will update you all on this as well. Same as last year, I’m still accepting Guest Posts if you’d like to share anything around mental health – experiences or advice, you can be anonymous.

Thank you everyone for continuing to support me through blogging, and a big thank you to everyone who submitted a Guest Post. I have no doubt that you helped someone out there.
