Bipolar Disorder Not Otherwise Specified ( NOS ) is a mood disorder with Bipolar features that fits no other category.

ONSET:

Diagnostic Criteria - Mental Health made easy.

Bipolar Disorder Not Otherwise Specified.

Examples:

A. Fast cycling between Manic and Depressive Episodes.
B. Bipolar not primary disorder but still present.
C. Bipolar Disorder present in a Delusional Disorder,residual Schizophrenia, or other Psychotic Disorder Not Otherwise Specified( NOS ).
D. Hypomanic or manic Episodes with no Depressive Episodes.
