Olfactory Tract is a pathway for the sense of smell. Olfactory Tract contains axons from some of the neurons in the olfactory bulb. Some of those axons go directly to the phylogenetically oldest part of the cerebral cortex where they synapse. Others travel through the anterior commissure to the contralateral ( opposite side ) olfactory bulb
