Cerebral Aqueduct

Cerbral Aqueduct is a narrow channel through the midbrain which connects the third and fourth ventricles This channel approximately three-fourths of an inch long that drains cerebrospinal fluid ( CSF ) from the third ventricle to the fourth ventricle through the midbrain. This is a common site of obstruction causing childhood hydrocephalus. The Cerbral Aqueduct is also called the Aqueduct of Sylvius.
